    The Goldfinch is well worth the time investment that it takes to complete this book. It's truly entertaining and brilliantly written. I was instantly captivated while I ebbed and flowed right along with Tartt's work. I think the best way to describe this book would be a present day Oliver Twist or Great Expectations.   Directed by John Crowley. With Oakes Fegley, Ansel Elgort, Nicole Kidman, Jeffrey Wright.
